This web site operates under the authority of the Vietnam Unit Memorial Monument Fund (VUMMF), which is incorporated in the State of California.

The purpose of this web site is to inform the viewer of the activities of the VUMMF and to provide information about the Memorial and the members of the Navy and Coast Guard who lost their lives during the Vietnam War.

Routine use of the web site will involve the collection of information about users who request membership in the VUMMF. Signing on as a member will put the individual on the distribution of a periodic newsletter about the VUMMF activities. Access to the information collected will be only available to the webmaster of the internet site. Submission of information to this web site is purely voluntary. Information will be maintained for a period of 10 years.

Any information collected will not be sold or retransmitted in any manner whatsoever.
